Meet our Staff

passion to serve, lead and equip

Faith’s staff has a passion to serve, lead and equip our community.

Bruce Garner, Senior Pastor

Bruce has been married to Sharon for 33 years and they have two delightful daughters, Kelly and Haylee. They enjoy spending time with family and the outdoors, and try to do a mountain, river, or lake adventure when they can. He earned a degree in chemistry from the University of Michigan (but roots for Michigan State!) and a graduate degree in theology from The King’s University. They have served at Faith since 1979.

Edward Norton, Pastoral Care

Ed has been in ministry for over thirty years, serving in New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. He has been married to Peggy for 37 years and they have six children and 14 grandchildren. He is currently finishing the requirements for a master’s degree in family counseling. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, Bible Studies, and golf, but not necessarily in that order.

Anthony Artis, Connections Pastor

Anthony and Davida, his wife, have been happily married for over 18 years and have two teenage sons, Blake and Isaiah. He has a heart for children, church leaders, married couples, missions, and the lost. In his spare time, he serves on several nonprofit boards and writes grants for the Faithway Charitable Endowment Fund. He has completed 44 credits toward a M.Div. and is currently pursuing a M.A. in English Language and Literature at his UM-Flint alma mater.

Jeff Ryal, Outreach Pastor

Jeff is married to Sara who he adores and they have three beautiful daughters, Annamarie, Aggie and Linda. Seeing people understand their created potential really drives everything he does. God has given him a heart for orphans, the poor, the oppressed, and the hurting here and around the world. He will watch any football game, which explains his devotion to the Lions.

John Thorn, Worship Arts Director

John grew up a preacher’s son singing and playing at his dad’s church. His love for worship grew and doors opened. He studied music at Lee University before beginning his career, playing bass for several contemporary Christian artists through the 80′s and 90′s. In 1998, John married his wife, Julie, and moved home to Michigan to raise their girls, Alexis and Taylor. John has served the Worship Arts Department at Faith since 2000. The Miami Dolphins, Kapalua,HI and Thai food round out his favorite things.

Doug Slayton, Pastor of Student Ministries

Doug and his wife, Carmen, have five children, Cierah, Ayrianah, Tayah, Breckin and Keighan. He was miraculously delivered from drug and alcohol abuse on January 7, 1996 here at Faith. He served in youth and children’s ministries at Faith for 10 years and then served in children’s ministry in northern Colorado for 5 years. He likes skiing (in the mountains), golfing, reading, music, and traveling. He dislikes olives, Diet pop horror movies and when people get into the turn lane and do not turn.

Dan & Gloria Mosley, Children’s Directors

Dan and Gloria Mosley met and married 24 years ago after graduating from Master’s Commission and have two awesome teenage daughters. They started married life as youth pastor’s and have always loved working with youth and children. The Mosley family likes old movies, silly commercials and singing in the car. Gloria loves to roller blade, to play basketball (especially beating the 4th and 5th grade boys) and to be outside. Dan is a fan of Gloria and loves trivia, long walks on short piers, and film-making.

Domenic Centofanti, Principal of Faithway School and Faith High School

Domenic earned his undergraduate degree from the Center for Creative Studies – College of Art and Design in Detroit and later earned a M. A. Ed. in secondary education. He is a noted freelance photographer and has taught art and photography from kindergarten to the college level. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 16 years, Danielle, their two children Isabella and Gavin, and their yellow Lab, Raegan.
