Interested in Baby Dedication?

CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your new baby! You are beginning the phase when nobody sleeps, everybody smells and one mesmerizing baby convinces you “I need you now.” The greatest characteristic of this phase by far is just how much your baby needs you.

Baby D is more than an event. It is an opportunity for you to take some time at the beginning of your journey as a parent to really think about what matters most. We believe that nobody will have a greater influence on your child than you! We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guide on this wonderful journey of parenting.

Please pick up your Baby Dedication registration packet at the church today.

Baby D will take place beginning at 9 on first Sunday of each month. This celebration will end at the beginning of our 1030 service when your baby is dedicated by one of our Pastors.

(This event is not infant baptism.)

Interested in Baptism?

If so, please know that water baptisms are held on the third Sunday of each month for new baptism candidates.

  1. The prerequisite for all baptism candidates is to be born again via a personal relationship with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Salvation precedes baptism.  FYI: Even if you’re not a member of Faith Tabernacle, but want to obey Jesus’ instructions, then we’re happy to assist and serve you.
  2. Just grab a “Water Baptism” registration brochure in the kiosk (near the sanctuary), complete it, and turn in it in to the church office or an usher.
  3. All interested candidates will attend a water baptism session  to share the Bible’s precepts about baptism and to have an actual walk-through rehearsal.

If you and/or someone you know is interested in baptism, please use our sign-up form, contact a Pastor with questions.

Interested in Fellowship?

We are, too!  As a matter of fact, if you are “New” then we have something special just for you.  We invite you and your family to join us for one of our Newcomers Potluck Luncheon gatherings!

  • The Newcomers Luncheons are held 3 times a year, last week of August, mid winter and early spring. If you are a Guests or “New” to Faith Tabernacle in the last 3-6 months, you are welcomed to join us.
  • As our honored Guest(s), we look forward to this time of fellowship and meeting you. All you have to do is come as you are. We provide the food.
  • We ask that you confirm your attendance by calling Pastor Peggy Norton at 810-743-0000 and let us know how many to expect with you.
  • We have pizza, pop, videos, games and child care for children 12 years and younger.

The luncheon is right after the morning worship service in the Gathering room located at the back of the sanctuary. We are usually finished by 2 pm. We will share our history, introduce you to some of our ministry leaders, answer questions and if you are interested, we can arrange a tour. Come join us for fellowship!

Interested or in need of a Spiritual Family Relationship?

Here’s just a few reasons why you need a spiritual family:

  • WE NEED HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the one who falls and has no one to help him up!” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-102)
  • WE NEED A PLACE WHERE WE CAN USE OUR GIFTS.
“Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you…” – I Timothy 4:143)
  • WE NEED A PLACE WHERE WE CAN GROW.
“They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, sharing in the breaking of bread and prayer.” – Acts 2:424)
  • WE NEED TO BELONG TO SOMETHING BIGGER THAN OURSELF.
“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” – Romans 12:4-5 “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another…”  – Hebrews 10:25
